With these scholarships, EFTI means to award new visual proposals that generate knowledge and discussion about the photographed topics.
Anyone under 39, regardless of their nationality, may apply for the grants. In the first six editions there have been more than 14,000 applicants from over 30 different countries. The scholarships are granted to three participants every year, and the award consists in completing EFTI’s International Photography Master course, valued at 8,200 € and considered to be one of the most important photography programmes in the world.
Furthermore, the three winners will receive a stipend of 1,200 €.

Castro Prieto, Luis González Palma (Guatemala), Lynne Cohen (Canada), Marcos López (Argentina), Mary Ellen Mark (USA), Matt Siber (USA), Mauricio Alejo (Mexico), Miguel Oriola, Misha Gordin (Russia), Olaf Martens (Germany), Rosângela Rennó (Brazil), Jill Greenberg (USA), etc.
